2011, the people

If possible, a student should take MARS/BIOL 2415 before MARS/BIOL 3416. However, it is NOT a requirement.

BIOL/ MARS 2415, PREPARATION FOR TROPICAL MARINE BIOLOGY, is a 1 credit course for Spring 2012. To register for it, a student should have "at least 8 credits of biological courses" or "Introduction to Marine Biology" or "Survey of Ocean Life". BIOL/MARS 2415 is designed to prepare the student for BIOL/MARS 3416. BIOL/MARS 2415 is an introduction to general water safety & snorkeling procedures, and a survey of a selected ecosystem in Florida. Students must be able to swim & be in good general health. The two sections of BIOL/MARS 2415 will meet Wednesday at 4:30-5:25 and on Wednesday at 6:00-6:55 PM; you can attend either class you want, regardless of which you register for.
